Consider the idea in The Chem 20 Factor that college courses can act as a screening process for students planning on pursuing a particular profession.  What inherit screening processes (causes) do high schools have that lead students success or failure in college admissions (effect)? Consider the different types of classes “smart” kids are expected to enroll in, and the intended or unintended effects on students.  1,000 Word Minimum.

In a response of not less than 1,000 words, compare and contrast two figures from popular cinema (2 movie characters, 2 actors, 2 directors, etc) or from popular music (2 artists), to help your audience come to a better understanding of one (purpose is to use one of the figures to argue a point about the other).  Make sure you cite similarities and differences.
